[07.022-ADGM] - CORP SUPPORT # CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING

Purpose:             

This certificate is issued electronically by the ADGM RA to confirm that the entity is in good standing with the ADGM RA.

Legal Entities:    

Companies, Partnerships, Foundations

Questions:         

1) Do we have access to the client’s entity on the KOUNTED dashboard? If not, an ORS form needs to be filed first to gain access because only users with authority over the entity can file this request.


2) Is the entity in active, registered state? Is the commercial license valid and the data protection annual renewal/confirmation statement/annual accounts not overdue? If the entity status is not active/registered and any compliance filings are overdue, this certificate cannot be requested, and the pending submissions must be made to return the entity to good standing.


3) Did the entity apply for deregistration/strike off or is it under liquidation? If yes, this certificate cannot be requested.


4) Are there any fines issued against the entity? If yes, this certificate cannot be requested and any pending fines must be settled to return the entity to good standing.

Pay Attention:   


1)      The entities should ensure that they are active and did not apply for deregistration/strike off or are not under liquidation. Additionally, the entity’s license must be valid, and if applicable, the confirmation statement and annual accounts are submitted. Moreover, the entity’s data protection annual renewal should not be overdue and there should be no fines issued against the entity.


2)      The document is issued electronically and sent via email, no hard copy will be issued.

à  Navigate to the Service List and select the register (Companies, Partnership, Foundation), go to Corporate Services, select View Option


àClick Corporate Services, Proceed, and confirm your selection.


àSelect Certificate of Good Standing as Service Type


àComplete the form and upload the required documents (if any), then click Next.


àTick the Declaration and select Next.


àComplete the payment, then select Submit. Once payment is completed, you will instantly receive the documents.

Timeline:             

This document can be requested at any time after incorporation/registration.

Timeframe:        

KOUNTED same working day provided the payment is received online


ADGM: The certificate is issued electronically and can be received instantly once the request is submitted.
